60 day voicemail frustration

By: andreww | 14-05-2013 16:26

A little known fact is that if you don't access your giffgaff voicemail for 60 days any customisation is lost (no pin, no personalised greeting etc) and you're not informed it has happened :smileysad:

If having gone to the trouble of setting these, to find if you did need to urgently check voicemail from another phone if would be very annoying to find you can't!

This is idea is very simple - once a PIN and/or a personalised greeting has been set - just leave it there without any time limits for it to be removed :smileywink:

Need this idea implemented as its really frustrating losing your custom greeting when you don't access your voicemail within 60 days. Surely there must be a option to increase the number of days to revert voicemail to default greeting or completly turn off the voicemail limit.

I do hope GG can change this and fast. It serves no purpose and clearly seem to annoy some, myself included.

No one benefits and it frustrates customers, so a little action here would be appreciated.

it is brilliant idea so in that case customer can also access to the old voicemail if they want  to .. as i lost some voicemail preciously and unable to find anywhere

Happy to support this, I've been caught out more than once and it is *very* annoying.  Annoying your customers causes them to leave eventually.

If you can't raise the time limit substantially, or do away with it, at least send us a text telling us we have two days to respond to maintain our voicmail settings!

Can't believe this happens!  I did wonder why I had to reset my pin recently
