60 day voicemail frustration

By: andreww | 14-05-2013 16:26

A little known fact is that if you don't access your giffgaff voicemail for 60 days any customisation is lost (no pin, no personalised greeting etc) and you're not informed it has happened :smileysad:

If having gone to the trouble of setting these, to find if you did need to urgently check voicemail from another phone if would be very annoying to find you can't!

This is idea is very simple - once a PIN and/or a personalised greeting has been set - just leave it there without any time limits for it to be removed :smileywink:

I'm somewhat amazed that you have even have to have suggested this because common sense would say that what you have proposed should always have been the default position.

So yes - good idea and it has my support.

I would back this idea, seems like a hangover from some time when it was more appropriate.

Need this idea implemented as its really frustrating losing your custom greeting when you don't access your voicemail within 60 days. Surely there must be a option to increase the number of days to revert voicemail to default greeting or completly turn off the voicemail limit.

I do hope GG can change this and fast. It serves no purpose and clearly seem to annoy some, myself included.

No one benefits and it frustrates customers, so a little action here would be appreciated.
