You know when you log in to online banking sometimes they have a message that you have to read before you can get to your information? I think something like that could be used by gg.
I have just seen one of probably hundreds of questions about payback. Several people replied by "just wait a day or two until gg have finished working it out" which is probably the right answer but I saw loads of people also saying "contact an agent". I would say most of the right and wrong answers are just guesses and heaven knows how much extra work this must create for the Agents.
At about this time of year if gg put a short message just telling everyone who logs in what to expect and when to start worrying it would take away 90% of the questions and all of the wrong guesses. All it needs is a message box to appear with a little tick box to mark when it is read so it only ever shows up once. Lloyds bank do it and NatWest also. I know gg like to be different but that does not mean keeping people in the dark.
This could also be useful when there is a problem of some sort, introducing a new system or goodybags are changing etc., etc.
@blackfive460 added this: how about having this appear when someone starts a new thread in Help? I wonder if Lithium would support that?
