Contribute sections currently states that it is for the following:
"Found a gremlin or seen something that needs tweaking?"
"Have a great idea for giffgaff that needs fleshing out, or thought of a brilliant way to promote giffgaff – share with us"
- but these are two very different things.
Gremlins/bugs should be reported in its own section i.e. separate from suggestions of ideas/promotions
If implemented, the bugs section could then operate more like the ideas section. A status could be added e.g.
- known issue / duplicate
- not a bug
- more info needed
- can't reproduce
- new bug - thanks for letting us know
etc ... (ideally with also an indication on priority of fixing it)
Why is this needed?
We are encouraged to forward gremlins and bug reports to the forum, not send to an Agent. Yet it seems possible for a reported issue to essentially sink without trace in the forum. The OP may never know if Giffgaff have even read it or is doing anything about it. This can't be best way to handle these issues.
Much better issue tracking
Reassurance to those who take time to report issues that they have not been ignored.
Good idea? What do you think?
