Handling multiple SIMs from a single company/family account

This idea was brought up by several posts earlier (see 1,2) and Vincent has even posted

a partial solution, but apparently it hasn't yet made it to this page.

The proposal is to have the possiblity to handle more than one SIMs from

a single account. This would be useful for companies, families, couples

and any other groups, if handling of the SIMs' administration/finances

is performed by one person.

The point is not necessarily to have only a single account for the SIMs,

i understand that at the moment the system requires the creation of an

account for each SIM.

The point is much more to have the possibility to define a master account from

which you can access relevant settings of all the SIMs within the associated pool.

Not only to top-up (this is not a problem as you can top-up any number through

the giffgaff pages) but also to activate/inactivate auto top-up or set speding limits, etc.

Another important aspect of a company/family pool os SIMs would be to handle the

credits more flexibly: to have the possibility to transfer credit from one SIM to

the other. Tthere was some discussion about implementing some form of credit

transfere on giffgaff (1,2) - in my opinion company/family SIM pools would be a good

argument to push such a feature and also an excellent context for the development

and testing.

This would make it a lot easier for me. I use multiple giffgaff sims and hate it when I have to top up by logging into different accounts.

I believe either the Beta App or the regular giffgaff app has the ability to topup several accounts without changing the login, although you cannot SHARE the balance between the different accounts you manage.

This is a great idea, and answers a query I had along the same lines. It would be so much easier if this happened as a parent it would be ideal to manage my children's phones in one place.

I love this idea because it's just like a family plan it should have been brought up years ago it needs to be on the on one account so you're only paying one Bill for multiple Sims

Even networks who used to give ‘itemised’ individual accounts on one bill are either stopping the itemisation or else stopping the ‘combined’ bills. Would you rather have ‘itemisation’ or a ‘family’ account? I’m not sure it is cost-effective to have either? At least, not for the company, if they are still trying to keep costs down.

yes. I have two devices - one of which is dual sim. The current issue is I need to have seperate accounts for each Sim - not ideal!

Come on Giffgaff. This idea was first suggested 10 years ago. Any chance of an update on the progress of this? Lots of families will benefit from this when it happens.
