Handling multiple SIMs from a single company/family account

This idea was brought up by several posts earlier (see 1,2) and Vincent has even posted

a partial solution, but apparently it hasn't yet made it to this page.

The proposal is to have the possiblity to handle more than one SIMs from

a single account. This would be useful for companies, families, couples

and any other groups, if handling of the SIMs' administration/finances

is performed by one person.

The point is not necessarily to have only a single account for the SIMs,

i understand that at the moment the system requires the creation of an

account for each SIM.

The point is much more to have the possibility to define a master account from

which you can access relevant settings of all the SIMs within the associated pool.

Not only to top-up (this is not a problem as you can top-up any number through

the giffgaff pages) but also to activate/inactivate auto top-up or set speding limits, etc.

Another important aspect of a company/family pool os SIMs would be to handle the

credits more flexibly: to have the possibility to transfer credit from one SIM to

the other. Tthere was some discussion about implementing some form of credit

transfere on giffgaff (1,2) - in my opinion company/family SIM pools would be a good

argument to push such a feature and also an excellent context for the development

and testing.

Yes, please! I am new to giffgaff and can't believe I have to make a new account for each family member's sim!

At the moment I am running 4 phones and a tablet from my now provider (family members), it is so much easier to have them all in one place ,I have one phone on giffgaff but your plans are so much more flexible, it you did start the multi account I would have no trouble moving my present plans to giffgaff. Hope you do it soon..

I have recently joined GG . I am running accounts for myself, my wife and my sons. It would be have been much easier had there been a multi account / number option. In fact it caused me some issues when setting up the second account because I thought I could log into my first account and add new numbers. Ended up a bit confused until I realised I couldn't do that.

Definitely a good idea.

It would make things a lot simpler if I could log into one account and view all my sims without having to log in separately.

Multi account be great. I have a number of sims used in phones, car, trackers and even my front gate intercom. Occasionally I receive Giff Gaff emails and I have no idea which sim is being referred to.

Sounds a perfect solution, & to transfer credit, or unused data or minutes to another SIM. I think it's Vodaphone, or EE that are currently advertising free data transfer.
