It’s much more convenient and accessible compared to PayPal, and would work better for those under 18 (GiffGaff lets you get payback at 16+, while PayPal is 18+).

Furthermore, GiffGaff’s excuse on this matter is that they would have to set up a relationship with every UK bank. This is categorically un-true. A business account at any bank would let them send payback via BACS or FPS to all of us - with even less effort than PayPal.

Personally I am happy with the current system however it could be useful for some however I suspect it would be expensive to implement.

I only use paypal for gg payback. I never use it otherwise.

how do you know it’s untrue on their assertion on commission etc? Glad to be pointed to a link that this could be achieved without an agreement for such amounts of money?

PayPal works for me fine if that’s what giffgaff finds to be cost effective.

But it wouldn't be beneficial to Giffgaff cos. Y would they give you the cash to spend elsewhere. This way everybody involved gets better deals Giffgaff credit are phones and the money comes back to them and that gives them more insentive to do more deals in the future
