Pick a goodybag for 12 months.

By: timwilliams25 | 01-09-2019 18:25

I know people can auto recur goodybags and change which goodybag they have each month. I m sure many take advantage of this but others like to keep the same each month.

I would like to see giffgaff consider offering a 12 month fix goody bag, at a £1 monthly cost discount. This could allow giffgaff to better manage cash flow (as they have more certainty on monthly income). Could also help those who keep the same goodybag each month.

Thoughts please. I know not for all, but could be good for many (and new joiners who prefer a 12 month set option)

giffgaff competition offer this 12 month simo deal.

Not keen on this idea as you can already achieve what you want. For a set amount, then just recur the goodybag and don't change it. Many, including me, very much like the flexibility that giffgaff offer so that you can reduce the amount spent in a month where you don't need as much (e.g. if you go on holiday outside of Europe).

Overall, no. As others say that's not why we come to GG.

I think the only way it could work would be a discount for a one-off payment (like several home broadband do for line rental). Otherwise you're into contractual T&C and that's not an overhead I want GG to deal with. That said, they do do this for the option to purchase phones and pay off monthly...

Not necessary really as 'auto recur' once chosen, requires no intervention but keeps the option for change open.

Definite no, I joined GG for its flexibility and to rid myself of yearly contracts.
If you want an annual contract you’re in the wrong place, change your provider, it’s so easy as you are not locked into a contract with GG!!!!
