Make it easy when a card changes!

I got a text today to say you weren't able to add (my) new recurring goodybag last night. (This is because the payment card has expired).

When logging into my account, it's completely baffling how to go about adding the new card, and far from clear if that will automatically generate a new attempt to debit the card. If I go to the 'add a goodybag' page, there's no mention of the declined charge, and I'm told I'll qualify for an extra 1GB of data only after 3 months!

A good system would recognize me as I log in, ask if I want to add a new card, attempt to debit that card, and confirm the transaction as successful.

As it it, I've updated the card, but nothing's 'happened'. I guess(and it is guesswork because the site doesn't tell me) that I have to manually purchase the goodybag that's set to recurring, probably losing 1GB of data a long the way.

In summary, and with respect, it's a bit rubbish!

I have recently bought a Giffgaff SIM card and purchased a £20 goody bag which I have set up and activated earlier today(20/08/19) am. But my card or goodybag have still not gone onto my account(pm) and I cannot ring text anyone or go onto Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube Google etc. And don't no how to sort it so would appreciate any help on this please, thank you

nothing happens unless you stop recurring goodybag to update the card.which i find quite understandable.

I found updating the card process pretty straightforward but I was caught out years ago with a failed transaction when it expired. A simple solution is just a SMS notification warning you that your card will expire.
