Eco Friendly Sims

What steps are giffgaff taking to be more eco friendly, environmentally conscious and reduce CO footprint? We all know this is a current issue in our day.
My suggestion is for giffgaff to jump on this band wagon and promote itself as a 'green' network provider, to gain rapport with the public and access more potential customers.
However to do this, it needs to make changes.
How about changing the way sims are packaged? I would not be referring to the paper part, which is recyclable, but the plastic frame around the sim. Could giffgaff explore options to remove this and use another medium which is recyclable, such as card? How this would work would need trial and testing.
Thanks for reading.
I am passionate about the environment, climate change, and recycling.

Things change with time. If it has been looked into, it should be looked at again... There may be new ways to do it.
