Goody bags abroad

By: 1984gemma | 22-07-2019 10:49

I know you can use your goodybags abroad now but if you have used most of your Goodybag and it is still not due for reoccurring to start before you go away. Having the option to purchase a holiday goody bag for 1 or 2 weeks. At the moment I only use the £8 goody bag and this does not run out till 1 week after I come back from holiday but I know I will use all my data within the first or second day of holidays so having the option to get an extra goody bag for this would be great.

as this is what will be happening to me when I go abroad soon.

Since you can now just get a new goodybag (of any size) once your existing data gets low, I don't see the real need for this. It would be quite a complex change to do and therefore expensive and prone to cause bugs.

You could queue a bag and start it early when you run out of data, it's only 8 quid.

Could you not buy a goody bag with more data to last more than the first day or two of your holiday?

Too complicated, but a data top up would be good.

I don’t think this is necessary either. Giffgaff now allows you to repurchase a goodybag early if you have 100mb or less of data or 100mins or less calls in your current Goodybag When in uk or abroad. Or you can always queue a goodybag behind current one before you go and as soon as criteria above is met, you will have the option to bring the queued on forward.

This is a great idea, an out of eu goodybag would be really useful and prevent stress and worry about my phone working or how much it will cost - I travel out of the eu quite a lot.
