Voicemail Improvement

Hello!
Something I find really annoying is calling someone, hearing them say their voicemail greeting, then to hear an automated voicemail greeting. Generally if we make a greeting, we say, “Hi, your through to Jane, I’m unavailable at the moment... Please leave your message after the tone”!
Why do we have to hear it twice?! Please, if a user has made their own message, can the automation be switched off?
I have faith that the GiffGaff wizards can make this change for the better!

simple idea but one that will have massive impact.
you want the voiemail experience to be as ' human' as possible and avoiding automated messages will go a long way towards this.
i hope GG looks at this idea

I don't think this problem is specific to giffgaff. Most, if not all, mobile networks do this. Very frustrating when you work in a dentist's office!

this really is the case! Unless you know to press a number on the dial pad and skip both messages altogether... but not everyone will know this and if you use a giffgaff phone for business it comes off really unprofessional...

I was unaware of that issue but if it is the case, then I agree the auto message should be removed. ????
