Voicemail Improvement

Hello!
Something I find really annoying is calling someone, hearing them say their voicemail greeting, then to hear an automated voicemail greeting. Generally if we make a greeting, we say, “Hi, your through to Jane, I’m unavailable at the moment... Please leave your message after the tone”!
Why do we have to hear it twice?! Please, if a user has made their own message, can the automation be switched off?
I have faith that the GiffGaff wizards can make this change for the better!

I suppose it might be deliberately designed that way in order to cater for garbled personal messages? Not sure on this.

I dint know that was the case. You make a fair point, no one wants to listen to two messages before being able to leave a message. Also it could be costing the caller more to be on phone longer. You have my vote.

I didn't know it did that. I've never recorded my own greeting as I can't be bothered. Nobody ever leaves me a voicemail anyway :)
But I'm supporting it as sound like an improvement.

This would be great! While he wizards are about it they could stop the 60 day deletion if customised greetings and PINs.
