Voicemail Improvement

By: sell3889 | 09-07-2019 00:24

Hello!

Something I find really annoying is calling someone, hearing them say their voicemail greeting, then to hear an automated voicemail greeting. Generally if we make a greeting, we say, “Hi, your through to Jane, I’m unavailable at the moment... Please leave your message after the tone”!

Why do we have to hear it twice?! Please, if a user has made their own message, can the automation be switched off?

I have faith that the GiffGaff wizards can make this change for the better!

Back me fellow GiffGaffers! I need your votes!

If you do get the standard message after the personalised message when sent to voicemail then not playing the standard message when sent to voicemail if a personalised message exists is only sensible — it could be costing the person phoning you scarce money/minutes to listen to the redundancy

Has anyone confirmed this is still a problem? I would up vote but I like to validate that a problem is still current and hasn't been changed before voting either way.

I wasn't aware of this but if you're told twice that someone is not available, this is quite poor, and should be able to be improved quite quickly
