Lab improvements on new ideas

By: pherbob | 27-06-2019 13:33

Too many times when submitting an idea it goes through without any suggestions that it is already an idea.

I suggest an improved algorithm to detect words and phrases in the main text as well as the title for it to be reviewed against others by a person in HQ. The person who submitted the idea should then be notified and informed of the other idea. Or something better than the current situation!

Its so hard to find the ideas you have, so you post it, only to be told its already an idea. So show me it so I can up-vote it!

Hopefully Labs will be improving, so these duplicate ideas are picked up.

Room for improvement, with time it will happen.

labs is currently going through changes and duplicates is one of the major part Holly and her team are looking into.

There will be a system in place hopefully to vet duplicates even before the system allows you to post. Until recently ideas were taking weeks to go through vetting before posts but it looks like things are slipping through.

But all in all I agree with premise of your idea so will support it.
