Smaller goodybags

By: harry8080 | 14-06-2019 21:36

My Pay as you go lasts a very long time, but it makes data and text quite expensive, what little I might tend to use. The smallest Goodybag at the moment is the £6 with 500Mb/300mins/500texts, OK but even being quite liberal with it use, I would tend to not exceed 100Mb/100min/10texts in the entire month. Which would be charged as £1.05/£3.50/£0.50 = £5.05 were it PAYGO.

I am expecting to need an occasional 1 or 2Gb of data, over a month, using my Iphone as a personal hotspot in my tourer caravan, so the Goodybags will really come in for that type of use, but the rest of the time....

I suspect there are many low users like myself, who would happily buy a recurring £3 monthly Goodybag offering 200Mb/150min/50texts.

I can't see those who count up the beans at Giffgaff being very enthusiastic about any smaller goodybags. Not to mention that Giffgaff have already turned down similar suggestions.

Perhaps it would be better to lobby for more competitive PAYG rates for the low users rather than smaller goodybags.

I suppose the calculation would be roughly does usage at current PAYG rates cost more than £1.50 most weeks, if so go for the goodybag and don't fret about whatever is unused, if you know any kids they are superb at using up allowances near the end of their duration.

yeah I agree, if people do not use all the internet/text/calls in the lowest ones then their certainly should be a owner one :)

Supported. This would be great and make Giffgaff much more attractive to light users.
