Super recruiter

At the moment recruiters are rewarded with payback for activations. Super recruiters have to wait for the second top up to receive anything, in my experience I’ve had a number of activations with no further top up, therefore no payback. This doesn’t give any incentive to push giffgaff sims so I think it would be a good idea to encourage members to seek out new recruits by a small incentive, does anyone agree with this?

Maybe try a token £2 payment on initial activation and £1 less on each subsequent topup?

I agree in that it would not make sense as far as profit were concerned if the new member leaves after a short while.

I can see both sides, though....

I can see both sides to this, and I'm not sure if it should be changed.

It's obviously not profitable for Giffgaff to pay out if the new member drops out after the first month, so I can see their side.

Think it's only fair super recruiters get something for their efforts even if recruits stop using GG after only 1 top up. From what I can see ordinary recruiters get payback reward after recruit makes only one top up where as super recruiters only get reward after recruits 2nd top up. I understand that if the new recruit tops up twice that super recruiter gets a very enhanced rate of reward. However, if the new recruit only tops up once then the SR gets no reward. So how about to make it fairer to the SR the enhanced rate on second top up is reduced a bit but if new recruit only tops up once then S R gets same reward as an ordinary recruiter would get? @pamfletch and LABS people. Basically @pamfletch is right, current system can cause SRs to be demotivated to keep recruiting.

Businesses do not want churn. They want loyalty. Getting new business that lasts, helps grow a business. I think the incentive is correct from what i have read. If I were given money to get people to register sims, I would be recruiting loads of people and not bother if they remain with Giffgaff.
