Regarding: Combating SIM Theft.
I can’t believe that this hasn’t been done already (phone accounts get hi-jacked). Setting up a pass phrase, so that if I ever need a new SIM, I have to give the pass phrase before I can activate said SIM.
When you log in should put like a pin in so it’s know it’s yours and no one can’t log into your a
maybe have an email that you can get the sim activated
every time you login a text pin just to prove that it's you.??
by setting up online account you will have to set up user name and password also know as credentials to be able to sign in.
Those are usually stored in your search engine installed on your device llike Google, firefox etc.
Avoid setting up an online account.
Do not link your SIM to online facility.
Every SIM card can be secured by setting up a SIM card pin lock/number.
So even if you lose your phone and the battery discharges you will need to type in your SIM card pin lock before login you back in to the network.
Bering in mind majority of phones do not need a SIM card to work and what they tend to do is they store all your data so if for example your contact numbers are saved on your device memory instead of your SIM somebody ealse will gain the access to all your contacts.
withings would be a lot quicker if we could talk with Hoff gaff agent for some articles
keep looking into it
thats a grate idea
