Scam info on knowledge base

By: newcrazymember2018 | 05-03-2019 16:01

Hello, there has been quite a few people mentioning text messages they have received from someone who claims to be from giff gaff and the text message says there is a SIM swap taking place. This is a scam, as most of us know. There seems to be too many scams going around lately. I think that the information about scams and what to do if we receive text messages like this should be somewhere in the knowledge base. There are various threads in the community about these scams but it might make it easier for people to access the information if it is in knowledge base.

I agree, and everyone should be notified as soon as a scam is identified.

So much more sensible to have all the scam warnings in one place but it must have someone keeping close eye on it to keep it up to date. Better for it to be on knowledge base as it wont then get lost in replies and queries. Really good idea.
