no time limit with payback

By: jonnysnatchsniffeer | 21-02-2019 17:27

looking back through my texts from giffgaf i noticed that i forgot to claim my payback for introcucing a friend.

as i had introduced one i wondered when it would be applied to my account and saw that it was twice yearly or something.

i didnt realise that i had to cliam it.

so heres my idea

why not just apply the payback automaticly when you next update goodybag or top up

There are several reasons for the six monthly pay out and why you have actively opt in to claim it.

One is fraud prevention, it's easy to activate a SIM top it up then cancel it within the 14 days and get the money back. The 6 month period allows the data to be properly audited and this kind of activity detected.

Similarly activity on the forums (the main source of payback) can be done in a fraudulent way so as to steal payback cash

Again the system helps prevent this.

Sorry not supported.

Once i forgot to choose my option and had to wait for the next time payback was being paid out which was in another 6 months. It would help a lot if it was automatic.

Im confused, I thought once the sim was activated by the 3rd party it was automatically applied?!

Do you mean choosing payback method i.e cash or credit?
