Activate SIM card when ordered via referral link

By: wfudin2 | 14-02-2019 14:28

So far to date I have had 15 people order a SIM card via my referral link. However only 3 have activated their SIM card.

I won't speculate as to why they have not activated their SIM card, however I think it would make more sense for the customer at the point of ordering their SIM, they are made to order their first goodybag.

This seems to be the norm with other networks, and the usual 14 day return rules would apply if they do change their mind.

I believe this would massively increase conversion rates of SIM ordered to activated, as the customer has already financially invested in the SIM and network.

If anyone has any feedback please let me know.

Thanks for reading.

Before I joined I used the sim card to check the reception I would get at home. You can't do that if you have this

Yes you can. You would still have 14 days to cancel.

agreed as you have to top up before you can use it anyway so why bother unless your going to top up and then why not pay when ordering but i can also see why as you could go to a shop get a free sim and top up and use it straight away without waiting for your sim that you have already paid for to turn up in the post.
