Increase SMS messages to 5 before they convert to MMS as not all users can accept MMS messages & they cost more as need data to use
in theory this makes sense but this is a device functionality issue. Like others have said, you can turn mms functionality off in your phone settings until you actually need to send mms or you can scramble mms details in your APN settings
This is something that giffgaff can NOT change even if they wanted to.
It is controlled by your mobile phone and may differ between make and models. It can be switched off though on all, if not most, mobile phones.
It's your phone, not giffgaff, that decides whether to send MMS or multiple SMS.
Just change your phone settings to not convert into MMS messages.
This isn't a network issue so giffgaff couldn't change this even if they wanted to.
Excellent idea if technically possible.
not sure this is in the hands of giffgaff or is it a general rule for all networks
