Move your number, yet stay with Giffgaff!

By: husates04 | 07-02-2019 15:23

Hello all,

Lets say you found a good deal at another network and willing to move your number to there. but also you don't want to leave giffgaff as you want to still keep your paybacks. So why is it not possible if we keep our account as they are but can move the number to a different network.

that can be sorted by giving a new number for giffgaff and continue the account on that.

this would help to get back to giffgaff easily in case the new network isn't loved much.

any thoughts

I know that there is an option of changing the number, but in that case you cannot use your original number in another network.

Also, I know that you can activate another sim under the same account but again, your rights will be valid until you more your original number.

Listen Giffgaff, this will not harm you at all. In fact, this will help your customers to have a 'widely 'open door to get back whenever they want.

good idea but i suspect once you move your number you lose your credit and goodybags allowances.

most of the other, if not all, are the same- they will not give you any outstanding credit or allowances once you have moved your number away from GG.

if the objective is to stay on with GG, then you can easily activate another sim and you will be given another number.

customers therefore already have a door wide open to move back to GG as all they need to do is activate another sim within the same account.

i'm not sure how much this idea will prmpt users to stay with Gg esp if they have made the conscious effort to leave GG.

It’s a great way to keep consistent and loyal members happy with the gesture most other companies will take advantage of after initial purchase and rarely anything after surely tho main point is it’s a great way to give members benefits main point being the word MEMBERS who are rewarded as existing if you want to switch to a new supplier gg obvs wasn’t for u why do you think you can have a reward for your account and not appreciate the fact most companies don’t even acknowledge existing customers

I’m sure it wouldn’t harm GG. I’m sure as I have looked it and found giffgaff to be the cheapest version the network is better than most other providers monthly payments are available to purchase new products which will still behave like a cont
