Tick please

By: peterbarrett1111 | 01-12-2018 14:35

It would really help me out if there was a "tick"

rather than an "up arrow" when my text message

has been sent from my Nokia RM 945 basic simple

raised key button non smartphone telephone.

The "up arrow" indicated a message in progress.

A " tick" means it has been received by the recipient?

I have recently been working in the Falkland Islands in

the South Atlantic Ocean and had big problems while I

was there not knowing if particular people had actually

received my texts?

Can you help?

Please say you can?

Regards

That's got nothing to do with Giffgaff it's all all your settings at mate but nothing to do with its Nokia settings try messing with your settings on your phone

You just need to type *0# at the start of every text message to receive a report. No need to leave a space, just type the message straight after.

The recipient won't see it, they'll just get your text without the *0# showing, but you'll get a report and peace of mind that they've received your message.

Probably better off asking Nokia who developed the thing.

Type *0# at the beginning of your text message to receive a delivery report.

You can get delivery reports for text messages by going into your message settings on your phone, usually.
