Giffgaff VPN

By: bigda32 | 28-11-2018 05:19

Hi don't wee all want the piece of mind that our browsing is safe and secure even more so when doing online banking ext if Giffgaff were to release a VPN app for costumers to just give us that wee bit of more security I'm sure everyone would agree the more the better I'm for ever getting my device hacked and tablet if I use my data or hotspot for browsing

I don't understand how giffgaff can provide a VPN when it doesn't run a network. Is this something for O2?

So I can't support this idea. But if there really is a way that giffgaff could implement this, please clarify the idea. Then I might change my vote.

Any one can provide a VPN their are meny on the market some free some with a limited amount of use for free they do have their use and can help secure a connection but anent perfect won't protect against infected web sites still need anti viruse / malware protection

Just use a free vpn such as tunnelbear or windscribe. Not something I see giffgaff providing, sorry.

Hard one as I do like the concept of giffgaff providing the members with a safer service but the costs involved and even if they tied up with a provider it could impact the whole community if any however small were included

I'm not really sure that giffgaff , as a service provider, are allowed to have a vpn that allows network bypassing. It would mean them all network level blocking including adult only access was pointless.
