Given that many companies are doing this already, would it be practical for giffgaff to offer Agent Support via WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger?

Instant messaging takes a lot of staffing, which in turn takes a lot of money.
Think the approach used for the past 8 years seems to be working for the majority.
WA and FBM are popular so that would be a good option for many users to have I'm sure.
I don't think we need this tbh
