To help the elderly have a QR code or barcode sticker on the back of the mobile phone go to shop and scan it for the amount they want to top up for also linked to their account

We need to have a sim just for the elderly with a the price and a a5 pound sticker or 10 pound and so.on

Telling them haw to get started haw to get it all set up everything that need to no...

oops both my parents who are in their 70's use giffgaff. They manage quite well with things as they are. Don't think they will be too amused if they read this. It's a definite no from me.

I understand what you say a lot of people will find it patronising a lot of people won't like the idea but it's not for that is for people that do struggle top in the phones up with the codes because I've use the codes and I've put the numbers in loads of different ways the wrong way what's so hard about a sticker on the back of your breathing phone to top your phone up then there's no put in your numbers in and then following instructions to top it up when I got to do it just scan the code scan the QR code what's so hard about that what's so patronized about that

Sorry if feel like that but I just wanted to help but I find it hard to believe that you don't think it's a good idea for a sticker to help people top the phone up

At 63 am I elderly? If so I find this idea patronising. Existing arrangements are very easy to follow, so this idea gets a down vote from me.

I also meant for the blind or people with sight problems. Sorry you found it patronising but 63 in my eyes is not classed as old!!

I find this idea rather patronising, verging on offensive, towards those of us who are ‘elderly’. Being of more advanced years does not mean being incapable of dealing with mobile phones and buying credit,

I like the idea but not sure if we really need it.

Sounds like a good idea, although there maybe a better way to ease topping up for the elderly or people without Internet access. However, I'm not sure that Giffgaff is an ideal provider for such people.
