MY IDEA.......

GIFFGAFF TO SELL MOBILE PHONES FOR THE ELDERLY AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE ACCESBILITY NEEDS WHO CAN NOT USE A NEWER HANDSET DEVICE.

Not everyone wants a simple feature phone in their old age - what about the techie folks?

I have also included in the link below for them tecki people

It's hard to fully understand the problems with our elderly generation and people who have accessibility problems who need a mobile phone but find it difficult to use a handset.

I believe in myself but some may disagree that the market in the mobile phone industry is aimed at the younger generation.

So I would like giffgaff to learn something from this idea and sell mobile phones on giffgaffs website for all ages and handsets that are compatible for the above persons.

It may be a very small market but for a company like giffgaff that pride themselves on being at the forefront of customer service and also customer care that is run by us our members surely they with our members input can research and provide mobile phones for customers with accessibility needs and person's who find it difficult to use a newer handsets.

I am sure person's with the needs of such a handset with special features to suit them run into the thousands let's make no mistake here.

Giffgaff can and should learn that there accessibility options can go that one step further than a box at the bottom of there website.

https://www.giffgaff.com/boiler-plate/accessibilit...

Some of our older generation and people that have hearing issues and also other dexterity problems can not use a newer model of mobile phone handsets even myself finds it difficult.

Mobile phones that can be implemented and launched on to the giffgaff market are not expensive and have features that incorporate a better use of handset for the people who might find it hard to use the current crop of mobiles that you are selling at this present time.

(PLEASE FIND THE ATTACHED LINK OF THE HANDSETS GIFFGAFF ARE SELLING)

https://www.giffgaff.com/mobile-phones

The benefits of the handset are described below

TEXT RELAY HANDSETS, READ ALOUD SPEAKER BUTTONS

( for person's that have difficulty in hearing or use a hearing aid)

BIG BUTTON HANDSETS

( for people who have problems with there sight)

READ ALOUD BUTTONS AND SOS BUTTON

(For any people who need the aid of a phone that can read text messages aloud and alert them to what buttons they are pressing when trying to dial a number also the SOS button at the back of the handset can be pressed in a emergency)

Phones that giffgaff could sell and likely to be purchased by the people who have difficulty with any aspect of the above can be made available at a cheaper cost with a goodybag attached.

PLEASE SEE ATTACHED LINKS OF THE HANDSETS THAT COULD BE PURCHASED.

At 84 years of age I have no problems with navigateing giffgaff.

I find this idea a bit patronising to the elderly members who use giffgaff with no problems.

It's a nice idea. I'm sure it could help to make gg friendlier for elderly people.
