Over use of data blockage

By: silverwing69 | 02-09-2018 10:07

i don't think you should bar a user from the £25 bundle for using lots of data mistakes happen kids get the phones and leave on the data WiFi goes down phones get lost or broken and they can't switch it off people traveling need to leave it on for GPS usage I simply believe that the always on data package should be available for you regardless of if you use it a lot when I brag about giff gaff I always mention the bundles and deals as I wasn't aware of this now its harder for me.

I use the £25 goodybag, with so called always on data ( All be it at a reduced speed after first 20Gb of data)

Some people can't afford to have both a mobile with data as well as a home broadband. Myself being one of them. Giffgaff is becoming expensive compared to other providers. Am seriously considering moving to 3 network as they are offering unlimited 4G data for just £20 a month. With no traffic throttle or limits to hot-spot usage. If giffgaff can't cope with high data usage then they shouldn't offer always on unlimited data. But it's typical of lots of companies offering unlimited texts etc even when they have a (fair usage policy)

When I last checked "unlimited" ment just that unlimited!

Not, we will say unlimited but actually you can only use as much as we decide you can!

I agree with you @letholdus 3 are good for deals but have weak signal in my area which is a shame
