Direct debit for goodybag payments

By: tonyireland | 30-12-2017 09:36

A good idea might be to implement a direct debit option for buying goodybags I know there is already an option to reoccur the goodybags via debit card but the direct debit would give another option for customers.

I am sitting on the fence but I do like this idea yes your free to go as stated yet it's easy to cancel a direct debit if you do leave

With auto reoccur you do have to remember to stop that if you leave too

IMHO I like this idea I hope it gets implemented it's something I would use

I would like to see this as an option - not to replace the current method - for many of the reasons listed by others, but also because I think DD offers more protection to the buyer and with the data breaches suffered by companies like TalkTalk in recent years, I'd rather not have credit / debit card details at risk of being stolen if the worst happened and GiffGaff lost customer data. Surely there is room for this as well as the existing options?

Bad idea. giffgaff is a PAYG service, direct debits are gp for contract providers.
