giffgaff mental health support

By: mogstar9 | 16-11-2017 20:51

Is there a space for giffgaff members to access none mobile support? By this I mean support about being lonely or anxious Tec, just somewhere were they can off load and hope someone can help.

Not supported, sorry....

I have mental health issues and I have a worker, doctor and family to go to when I need to offload etc....

Definitely shouldn't be a space for this topic..

Go and get genuine help and talk to the professionals......

I agree i have cancer and its not the place to talk about the mental health issues with this illness the doctors and proffessionals help this issue. The phone is a benefit and necessary item to be able to contact loved ones. All hospitals should allow patients this curtosey of using the internet to enable usage. Not all allow it.

I understand about monitoring. I don’t think anyone should be posting on giffgaff if they are suicidal and have say taken an overdose, they should be calling an ambulance. There would have to be rules and I think decisions should be made on what on can be posted for example I would say no photos of self harm, nothing to glorify it, maybe some giffgaff members could help monitor it

there are lots of services offering this type of support, and this idea although good in principle does not sound like what a mobile phone service should be offering

granted GG could help to promote services that can help people having mental health issues, and make calls th these services free, if they are not already

Sorry but not everyone is sensitive and able to give the right advice, this could run the risk of adding to someone's anxiety and worries.

Trained organisations exist for these issues not a mobile phone network.

I disagree with this idea but I think they should implement a mental health and disability and elderly priority service so people With mental health and health problems and the elderly ie over 65s and people with altimers and dementure can get helped quicker than other service users
