I am writing to express my concerns about the Super Recruiter Programme. It's been two years of massive changes at giffgaff and I really think that it has arrived the time that giffgaff begins to appreciate our hard work that we have done it to spread the network accross the UK.
In two years time we have seen several changes that giffgaff decided unilaterally to implement and It has had a huge impact to us.
1. Since March 2017 all potencial giffgaff customers can easily order a free SIM through its own giffgaff website from all over the world. Giffgaff has converted in our main competitor to get new customers. Nothing to say about that.
2. Secondly and the most important: giffgaff changed -without asking us- our rewards. Previously we always had £5 for every activation regardless the time the new customer was about to stay to the network. Despite to balance that loss they have implemented a system of rewards to let their Super Recruiters earn less money than ever. I think they should review and remake the REWARDS SCHEME, I mean the number of activations that we need to earn more. To be honest it is nearly impossible to bring +120 activations every month if you do not have your own business or something BIG like that.
3. Thirdly, we are seeing from time to time all the promotions that giffgaff does to new customers: Around every 6 months they give double credit to them or they decide to give £10 instead to £5 to all non-super recruiters when they get one new recruit.
Sooo... What about us, the SUPER RECRUITERS that made you a big network spreading you doing word of mouth and convincing all kind of people like friends, family, etc before you started to spend a huge amount of money in all kind of advertisment? (TV, newspaper, street signs...).
SUPER RECRUITERS have been in the past a big part of giffgaff, running the company and trying to do their best to bring giffgaff where it currently is. We demand to make something in return towards us. A better rewards to us, new promotions... SOMETHING!!!
