Would it be possible to be able to cancel a transfer of number, could click on on account after have filled in form but have changed your mind before goes a head.It would save on waiting for a agent reply as this the only way can request to even if cant after filled transfer form but should be able to change your mind on this.

Yes this is good in principal, but I don't know in practice because it's such a complex process involving two operators.

I'm sure there would be a window of opportunity to cancel shortly after making the request though, so I'll vote!

For porting out they have just introduced this.  If you change your mind before giving your PAC to another network, you can cancel the PAC and lift the restrictions on your account.  A banner will appear across your account.

Stopping the PAC after giving it to another network is much more difficult, not least because the losing network is probably not supposed to be able to interrupt and delay the process in any way.

The new system will check whether the PAC can be stopped, and tell you whether it has been able to cancel it.

I can't see a large proportion of people porting in are going to need this option available, it'd probably cause more aggro with people clicking on it by mistake!

cant really see how it would work if you already put the request in to an agent you still have to cantact one no matter what

I think that this could cause problems.

Better to do via agent.
