£10 is proving a barrier to getting new members to activate. How about a £1 activation offer with no payback incentive until a total of £10+ is topped up?
Would help get more members
possibly a fiver ( and deferred payback) might have been something to consider but a quid ? No that is likely to cause more nuisance than its going to bring worthwhile new members.
people might activate a sim for the least thing if it were only a pound to do so tying up loads of phone numbers and costing the same upkeep as any other account.
Not a bad idea. But I do think £5 is a better minimum activation fee.
£1 doesnt buy much these days.
It may encourage people on a limited budget to join. But no payback.
There is a lot to consider here.
£1 is a good option rather than £5, as some people can be put into certain circumstances beyond there control and may just need a phone with an activated SIM card on it to be able to contact non emergency services, like 101 or 111. Where you need some money on the activated SIM to be able to contact them.
niice best of luck
Would you still expect the £5 free credit and payback for the referrer? Too small an amount for viable processing.
I like this idea but it would take an option at sign up for members to go ther full price or the no payback option £1 sign up
