Service checker on the main giffgaff site

By: scrappydez | 07-10-2015 20:16

Currently when trying to test for mast issues we direct a lot of people to the Service Checker and Planned Mast Maintenance thread or the O2 Live Service Checker

{edit} giffgaff have know closed the first link above and now use this one which is still as bad.

I want to see giffgaff put a service checker on the main giffgaff site and also link to it on the drop down menu of the help section.

If we follow the help section link for the Coverage and service page it shows the link there but that one that is currently in use is a bit ugly and not fit for purpose as it produces a scroll bar and does not display the results as a full page and links over to the community pages.

I think that it could be visually improved a lot aswell. Give this idea your support.

Probably a good thing but I have not found the service checker to be very much use as it doesn't specify which masts aren't working, thereby making impossible to move location nearer the still functioning masts

What take a trip back in the time machine? it's marked as implemented in May 2016 for two years you have been unable to add or subtract votes.

This is now available right here: https://www.giffgaff.com/coverage-and-service

You can even get to it from the top navigation by clicking on 'Network & coverage' under the 'Help' topic.

A good idea and happy to say we've made this live on the site now for everyone to benefit. Cheers scappydez!
