I think there should be an option to send credit to a friend . How many times have u been short of change and Not wanted to top up and a friend feels generous. I would suggest allowing it contacts only to prevent them sending it to the wrong people/persons. also perhaps making a "are you sure?" Notification before its done to prevent complaining. If giffgaff want to also it may be a decent idea to charge extra which goes to them e.g. 8% of value or 20p per time sent.

Thanks for reading.

No you didn't (you can't on implemented ideas). What you did do is simply copy what shahz87600 and vijay42924 posted which seems to be a regular theme.

I have got to question the veracity of implementation here as well.

Certainly the suggestion hasn't progressed through the labs stage by stage on the strength of member support counted in votes ( that would be surely the balance plus votes with downvotes subtracted)

I wonder if Giffgaff are claiming implemented status here because of the altruistic top up?

Hmmm has this actually been implemented?

Some details on what changed would be good and why this was any different to all the other earlier posted ideas on this as this was a duplicate to many other earlier posted ideas?

Edit: I've checked and there still isn't a method of transferring credit, just adding credit to another acct (which preceded the idea posted).

That is called an altruistic top up and its just what you suggest except you can't get a goodybag for another and it is not in amounts less than a normal top up.

This must have been before ideas were checked out before being added to the new ideas page because otherwise I wouldn't have thought it would make it through.
