What about getting the bar lifted on sim activation by making people enter their date of birth, and ticking a short agreement.
There NEEDS to be found another way to prove age. There are disabled and disadvantaged adults out there who will never venture abroad and therefore have no need of a passport, and are incapable of driving or obtaining a driving licence. THIS IS DISCRIMINATION!
Can't support this idea though - there DOES need to be proof of age.
The adult content bar is a matter of child protection and perhaps your kids if you have any are angels, but there are others who might pretend they're a little older in order to gain access to naughty things that they shouldn't be seeing.
Hard to believe I know but some people might fib to get around the bar.
I dont agree with this, it would be too easy to get round and as someone with young kids that are starting to get to the age where they want a mobile phone I want to know that the cotent they can view is safe. It would be so easy just to register a new sim and lie about your date of birth just so you can look at adult content.
I think the process they have at the moment where you need a passport or driving license is perfectly fine, sorry not for me
Would be easy but people will put wrong date of birth on if they are under 18
