My giffgaff app notifications

By: methusan | 29-10-2014 23:25

If you have installed the mygiffgaff application on your phone, then there should be a feature whereby a notification is displayed for reasons such as when an agent has replied to your query or a reminder that your goodybag has now expired. This will keep members more informed and connected rather than having to check themselves by opening the app.

Brilliant - more responsive acknowledgement to the community and quicker to resolve issues especially if there may be issues with logging into the site. At least we would know that it's been acknowledged and rest assured it's being looked at. I personally am awful for remembering to look back at my questions or even log back in to the site and this certainly would prompt me to look at the update.

This must be a irritation to agents who are waiting for reply from the community and we don't check back.

I feel that this is a certain need for everyone at Giffgaff and keep the community moving at speed.

in a way it is a good idea but then in another way I am not sure because maybe us needing to log on to the app to check these things means we are maybe more likely to help a couple of people out in the help and support forum and stuff like that while we are here. Do You see what I mean? It's a bit like what shops do, they don't always show you all the items on their website, making it so that people have to go to the shop itself and while there end up spending a bit more money perhaps? It benefits Giff Gaff and all Giff Gaffers if we are regularly on the app or logging in to website?

Yes this would be great, also getting pop up notifications from the community pages would be good as well.

seems a good idea especially considering the date it was suggested, although now that new apps are on the go should re-direct the idea afresh to the app building thread in contribute and might get it sorted by going straight to the app building team.
