Implement SSL on community.giffgaff.com and force SSL across the entire site

By: yalam96 | 10-08-2014 11:47

Last thread I saw about this was in 2012. It's 2014 and we still have a site that sends session cookies in plain-text. Giffgaff needs to take user's privacy and security seriously and SSL/TLS is an easy way to do that. It will cost gg nothing and therefore there is no reason not to.

Well I am chuffed with this but seriously concerned by the amount of time it has taken... it implies that giffgaff are not concerned with our security.

I agree with what you have said regarding privacy and its now 2018 nearly 2019 & I wonder if they have done anything about the matter?

Well it is claimed to be implemented, as some of the other suggestions in the implemented section are either dubious or outright untrue I have to hope this is a genuine implementation, took long enough if it was first submitted in 2012
