Non Expiring Data Sim

By: borg42 | 29-06-2014 20:48

I think this would be a fairer way of operating the gigabags. The product is sold on the basis of the amount of data. presumably GiffGaff would be happy for me to use the amount of data on my gigabag within the specified time. So if I've paid for that amount of data I should be allowed to use it all however long it takes.

I'm sure if I used all my allowance i a week GiffGaff would be more than happy to let me purchase another.

Come on GiffGaff step up and provide a product nobody else is. I'm sure you would have floods of tablet and low usage users flocking to buy your data sims. :smileyhappy:

I agree with this one and it would be helpful to save your data now for later use. So user can better plan there data usage when at home and use it when traveling

I am a Giffgaff customer and I saw this idea and some of the comments related to and so thought I needed to point a couple of things out. Give it some perspective maybe.

This is NOT currently a workable solution. Why the **** not??

Giffgaff currently provides one of the cheapest "All in" data, calls and text bundles in the whole of the UK.

Data is now the number 1 consumable in the UK on mobile devices and then in order, its texts and then phone calls.

The top package (goodybag) at £25 is currently one of the most competitive on the market (on pay as you go) and Giffgaff can boast, also one of the top 3 most reliable, with the best coverage in the UK and Europe as well as further afield places such as Japan and Australia and is one of the fastest data providers in the pay n go secter.

This is down to the fact that Giffgaff has always run on the O2 mobile network. A network that helped to revolutionise the smart phone industry and has been around from the early days.

To enable Giffgaff to stay competitive in such a large market and to provide an Excellent service at the price that a teenager could afford on a monthly basis, is in itself an achievement

Unlimited data does not require a roll over service.

Rolling over your data would force Giffgaff to increase the price of any currently very very cheap tarriffs.

Who wants a £10 price hike to their bill?

Raise your hand if brain fell out.!!

Go to the 3-mobile network if you wanna pay more for a lesser product. They happily charge £35 for an inferior service and also Do Not roll over their data.

Most providers that offer a roll over service are contract only and don't give you enough data to leave any decent excess to roll over anyway. (Unless you are my Nan and you don't know how to switch your phone on)

Swallow the pill guys, it's only £25 for 30 days service.

NOT the 50p per minute during on peak and 35p off peak charges that we used to pay 25 years ago when a pint of beer was just a quid.

You have the freedom to choose.

Why did you pick Giffgaff.

After all is said and done, you're already here aren't you, so something tells me you probably already have common sense in abundance.

Thanks for listening, all the best x.
