Non Expiring Data Sim

By: borg42 | 29-06-2014 20:48

I think this would be a fairer way of operating the gigabags. The product is sold on the basis of the amount of data. presumably GiffGaff would be happy for me to use the amount of data on my gigabag within the specified time. So if I've paid for that amount of data I should be allowed to use it all however long it takes.

I'm sure if I used all my allowance i a week GiffGaff would be more than happy to let me purchase another.

Come on GiffGaff step up and provide a product nobody else is. I'm sure you would have floods of tablet and low usage users flocking to buy your data sims. :smileyhappy:

I would find a non-expiring data only gigabag very useful (for my tablet which I never use as a phone). I paid for a gigabag this month, used half of it then went on holiday to France, where I am not able to use it. So now it's going to waste while I am paying for expensive roaming data. If this idea were implemented,  I could carry on using the gigabag I already paid for when I get home,

Another cracking idea.

If you don't use all your data it should roll over.

After all you have paid for it.

That's like saying you can play with my ball for a month but i want it back if you don't play with it for 20 hours.

What giffgaff really want is for you to have a heavy month and pay extra and take back what you have legally paid for.

Greedy capitalists.

Remember children, somebody has got to make money out of you.

Pay as you go data sim would be fairer especially for those of us who live in areas with just sufficient signal to make a phone call sometimes.

"I know this is not what giffgaff was meant to be a couple of years ago but now thinks Have started changing so maybe it's time for a major change in Goodybags" giffgaff said they don't waste money on advertising but now thy do a lot of things have changed I have already stated that above, and if people don't want to buy a long term goodybag don't by one simple, I did say it's be beneficial for some that want to save money long term and its not like it's a two year contract they can go for 3 month if they wanted to. @xollobru

What happens when members circumstances change, ie they need a different goodybag for more data or minutes etc or they want to change from 3G to 4G etc?

How does this fit in with the giffgaff commitment in their manifesto of "No contract. Pay as you go. Change your plan every month."?
