Non Expiring Data Sim

By: borg42 | 29-06-2014 20:48

I think this would be a fairer way of operating the gigabags. The product is sold on the basis of the amount of data. presumably GiffGaff would be happy for me to use the amount of data on my gigabag within the specified time. So if I've paid for that amount of data I should be allowed to use it all however long it takes.

I'm sure if I used all my allowance i a week GiffGaff would be more than happy to let me purchase another.

Come on GiffGaff step up and provide a product nobody else is. I'm sure you would have floods of tablet and low usage users flocking to buy your data sims. :smileyhappy:

Longer expiry for goodybags would make sense for lots of people

Maybe the Data Gigabags should be 3 months expiry - like free giffgaff to giffgaff calls

Brill idea new to giff gaff and just wasted a £10 gigabag on absolutly nothing.Didn't realise how to check for coverage of a certain area therefore let the gigabag run it's course unable to use anything, been nice if i could have let it ride a bit longer and found out these things Ahhh we live and learn.

I would like the option of a larger gigabag e.g. 3gb, 5gb, 10gb or 20gb like the 3 Network provides. I believe they are the only network who comes close to Giffgaff when it comes to cost or value. I am not sure why Giffgaff discontinued the 3gb gigabag it used to carry initially.

Three currently offer a 12GB / 12 month validity SIM for data, which to someone like me with wildly varying data usage from month to month is a godsend cf. 1gig per month. I’d love to see GiffGaff step up and do something similar

I would find a non-expiring data only gigabag very useful (for my tablet which I never use as a phone). I paid for a gigabag this month, used half of it then went on holiday to France, where I am not able to use it. So now it's going to waste while I am paying for expensive roaming data. If this idea were implemented,  I could carry on using the gigabag I already paid for when I get home,

Another cracking idea.

If you don't use all your data it should roll over.

After all you have paid for it.

That's like saying you can play with my ball for a month but i want it back if you don't play with it for 20 hours.

What giffgaff really want is for you to have a heavy month and pay extra and take back what you have legally paid for.

Greedy capitalists.

Remember children, somebody has got to make money out of you.
