Non Expiring Data Sim

By: borg42 | 29-06-2014 20:48

I think this would be a fairer way of operating the gigabags. The product is sold on the basis of the amount of data. presumably GiffGaff would be happy for me to use the amount of data on my gigabag within the specified time. So if I've paid for that amount of data I should be allowed to use it all however long it takes.

I'm sure if I used all my allowance i a week GiffGaff would be more than happy to let me purchase another.

Come on GiffGaff step up and provide a product nobody else is. I'm sure you would have floods of tablet and low usage users flocking to buy your data sims. :smileyhappy:

Cheers

totally agree, I love giffgaff but would love it even more if you did this, I won’t top up my iPad anymore as I just tether it to my phone because I don’t want to pay for data I’m not using. If this was implemented I would definitely top up my iPad, not that much, but you would get some business rather than none in this area.

Great idea. What about including the ability to add data whenever to top it up. Have a charge per gb or something. I would love a data SIM I could add data to to cover an extra need but not lose what's left after 30 days

Yes in goody bags as well- you've paid for the data use so it should roll over

I'm generally a really light user of data, minutes and text, but occassionally I'll have a month where my data usage hits the limit before the end of the month - like it has for me this month. So, I've had to start a new goody bag early, which is great for Giffgaff (especially as I've moved up a tier in the goody bags to try and avoid this for the next few months) but not so great for me as I've lost tonnes of GB worth of unused data allowance over the time I've been a loyal member.

I'm sure that I've seen adverts for at least one mobile operator allowing data to roll over, so if they can do it then surely the great Giffgaff can!

I live in hope, all the best to you all.

This will be welcome by many users! Give it a go, let us support Giffgaff even when we have no credit! but only data left. Thank you for listening
