Using GiffGaff Abroad

By: rydedude | 09-06-2014 11:19

An article in yesterday's Mail on Sunday reported the excellent news that Three now allow the use of inclusive minutes, texts and data outside the UK. They have just added the US to a list of 16 destinations.

Virgin Media have launched an app which allows customers to use inclusive minutes while abroad.

I hope that this is also being explored by GiffGaff and that we may soon have the same service extended to us.

This would be very useful and would benefit a lot of people. Am voting for this.

A roaming package or add on would be good for giffgaff, even if it just applies to the EU, not worldwide

Yep supported! I personally would be happy with a international data goodybag though. Sensibly priced.

Great to have an across boarders package for continental europe, or all abroad locations. Perhaps there are different preferences for people travelling:

- data only

- affordable calls and txts to home

- affordable calls and txts to location

Thanks x

This would be a ****** front feature for giffgaff. Making it the cheapest, but the most valuable network for people to use. :)

I am abroad currently and have disabled my giffgaff goody bag as it will cost me money to keep it and it is no use to me at all if i am not in the UK... I will also be buying a new sim card for when i am abroad cause my giffgaff one does me no good. Please make this possible!

Another good idea and move by competitors, I fear giff gaff are falling behind in the innovation stakes.....
