Topup via PayPal

There was the problem with the topups and it has made me think, why not introduce Topups by PayPal?

What do you think?

Kudos if you like.

This would also permit the use of your payback in Paypal to give the money back to GG for airtime credit or goodybags.  Currently, if you take payback as airtime credit, your free GG to GG calls expire before you've used it all.

initially i liked this idea and for us, the people who are paying for goods, it is normally free.

however, i can see from gg's point of view they will be charged however much and then they will have to pass on the charges to us so we end up paying for it anyway so maybe not such a good idea.

I don't like this idea because PayPal got high processing fees so giffgaff will be more expensive.

I say NO.

A fair idea, but, don't forget you have to pay for most transactions with PayPal & it does mount up. I'm often surprised when I receive a monthly bill & try not to use PayPal these days.

I don't like any websites storing my credit card information.  Many sites have been hacked.

I'd much rather use paypal and know that my data is secure.

I like this idea. At the moment if you change your address with your bank you immediately have to change it with say giff gaff - if you have a lot of companies that you deal with then it takes time. Whereas if you can use PayPal you change it with PayPal and you have more time to change your address with other companies. PayPal is secure, trustworthy and your payment is protected if things go wrong - for both parties.

I would be much in favour of being able to make purchases of goody bags by the use of Paypal depending what Paypal's commission charge would be as this will have to be part of the calculation for Giffgaff, but as for the proposal - a good one.

Yes, or at least accept more foreign credit cards.

Great idea, giving you more options can only improve the device. Thumbs up from me

Found it on the list of options and really glad it's there! One thing I don't understand though: why do I still need to specify a credit card? (Doesn't Paypal already do that when you create an account? Each Paypal account has to be linked with a valid card.)
