There was the problem with the topups and it has made me think, why not introduce Topups by PayPal?
What do you think?
Kudos if you like.
Excellent idea. Would find it very useful.
Really simple but great idea.
Surprised that it is not available already
Don't really see a massive need for this.
Will be asking for trouble in my opinion from the service charge that will have to be added (or giffgaff will have to make the goodybags smaller to counter valance the service charge)
Then also if someone tops up uses their phone then rings paypal and says giffgaff haven't topped up the phone correctly because paypal can't see whether or not you have recieved/used the goodybag there's a high chance they will refund that person and if not refund immediately it will definately be investigated.
I thought giffgaff planned to allow PayPal payments at the last Open House. Nothing has happened so we should push this idea ahead.
Yes that sounds like a good idea!!!.
When looking at what ideas to bring forward and consider implementing, the giffgaff staff look for ideas that have the most upvotes. Because it's difficult to consider whether two ideas are the same thing or not, they don't look for how many times a given idea has been posted.
This means, that by choosing not to search the ideas board before posting, and posting a duplicate of an existing idea, you've actually caused both your idea and the previous one to be now less likely to be implemented. Before posting any future ideas, please take the time to search for existing ideas that are the same as yours, and upvote them rather than spewing out the same idea over and over.
Members should accept responsibility for managing their account and ensuring they have credit for emergencies (ie enabling auto top-up) and not expect gg and other members to nanny them.
Like these existing ideas?:
To vote for an Idea is more powerful than posting the same Idea again (you can search to see if your Idea is already out there here)
i agree with the paypal which has been mentioned many times in ideas but dont agree with emergency back up
